Light diffraction simulation2/29/2024 The proposed grating cell has a high haze value in the opaque state (76.7%) because of a substantial spatial phase difference independent of the azimuthal angle, while also having 1-D grating cell advantages, such as easy fabrication, fast response time, and low operating voltage. In this study, we demonstrate a simple 2-D LC phase grating cell with an octothorp electrode on a single substrate. On the other hand, the 2-D grating cells, have serious drawbacks, including a slow turn-off response time, a high operating voltage, and problematic manufacture owing to the difficulty of perpendicularly matching the top and bottom interdigitated electrodes in practice. They had a haze value of 83.8%, which is quite high. To overcome this drawback, two-dimensional (2-D) LC phase grating devices, consisting of top and bottom substrates with crossed interdigitated electrodes, have been proposed 33, 34, 35. However, owing to the low haze value of 51%, they are not extensively used in one-dimensional (1-D) applications 31, 32. They have various benefits in terms of haze control, including reduced haze and a broad viewing angle in transparent conditions, low operating voltage, and fast response time. Although light diffraction using an LC phase grating is not the same as light scattering, it has the same impact on haze control. To overcome these drawbacks, LC grating devices have been developed for smart windows 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35. ![]() However, these devices have some limitations including high operating voltage, slow response time, and lack of reliability 23, 29. Polymer structures, chiral dopants, and ions in LCs can be used to induce light scattering. ![]() LC windows can be utilized in privacy applications, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and transparent displays by controlling light scattering 26, 27, 28. LC devices particularly benefit from a fast response time and the ability to adjust light scattering, absorption, or reflection, whereas other smart windows can only control light absorption 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25. Smart windows have been reported to control the transmittance of sunlight and solar heat in electrochromic, photochromic, thermochromic, suspended particle, and liquid crystal (LC) devices 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

So housing, vanity slot and daily quest cant come soon enough :( i am uterly bored of leveling new jobs when i'm not doing coil. ( ffxi got that, guild wars 2 got that, wow too if you consider the orange weapon relics, way harder to get.)Īnyway, i am not a game designer, all i can do is complain. they should have made it so titan weapon can beat coil and relic would just be overpowered. A relic is supposed rare and impressive amount of time should be required to get them. Relic weapon should be like, getting all the 3 primal weapon, fuse them, use 2000mytho points, fuse with a weapon HQ2* that require 50 potash and 50 coke, 5m gil, crap ton of materia #4 and your soul. A quest like that imo should give an bis earring. I find relic quest to be too short for what it is. You had to do quest for your af that required a group to help you, making them handed off to you on a golden plate for getting the level was a bad concept. ![]() hell, completing the whole senario for an expension only rewarded a peice of accessory, you had to make a choise, but then it was the best time you could have for that job. In ffxi there was stupid long quest for just a ring. I enjoy doing stupid long quest for a peice of gear. Brand new primal fights in the future shouldn't even spark this discussion because they have appropriately higher ilvl rings/weapons/whatever to go with them. Remember, Moggle mog was already available for some time in 1.0 and the items already existed so they couldnt beef them up. TBH, this is most likely a one-off thing anyway since 2.1 is more about getting content that was already slated to be available at release actually into the game. Not to mention they can always go back and make the fight a quest requirement for Relic+2 or AF2 or whatever. There's considerably more incentive for running this content than something like AV or rerunning old story fights. Plus like other primal fights he'll most likely be dropping a rare item used for housing worth a boatload of gil. Extremely unique ilvl70 primal weapons are still nothing to scoff at for alt classes, god knows I have enough garuda/titan weapons for classes i'll probably never play much less get relics for. Right, but none of those things provide any sort of incentive at all to repeat the content.

The blotter paper was 10¢ a pack, and I bought a dollar's worth. They were actually made for the rocker blotters, which were not that common anymore when I bought the stuff. I'd leave it in the journal at the last place where I'd written and that would make it very easy for me to open it right up to the next blank spot. I just used the flat sheet of blotter paper, I didn't install it in a rocker blotter. I used to use a dip pen in my journal for years, and the blotter paper was a real necessity then. But this rarely happens with fountain pens. But if you leave a big dome of an ink blob on the page and just squash the blotter down on it the ink blob will spread out a bit before the blotter can absorb it. If used properly it shouldn't smudge the ink. The use of the blotter is to dry the ink completely and immediately, as opposed to letting it dry on its own. I realize that there is not a lot of functional use for it, but it is cool.Ĭongratulations on getting that nice gift.
